DeLand Chapter DT of PEO is proud to announce their most recent local Foundation Scholarship recipients. PEO is a philanthropic educational organization dedicated to helping women pursue their education.

From Deltona High School are Amaris Matias (pictured), who is pursuing a degree in early education at Stetson University; Savannah Sanchez, who is working toward a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree at AdventHealth University; Karina Berrios-Velazques who is studying psychology at the University of Central Florida.

From Taylor High School in Pierson is Teriauna Carruthers, who is pursuing a degree in psychology at the University of North Florida.

These women received $2,500 to help with their tuition. The DeLand chapter sends their best wishes for success to these women in their chosen academic fields.

Volusia Online Learning Summer VFlex program gives students the opportunity to earn original credits in an accelerated online format.

📅 Now– July 30

✅ Finish courses in half the time
✅ Earn credits that count toward graduation
✅ Learn on a flexible schedule from anywhere
✅ Take courses in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Driver Education, Personal Finance, and more

Students complete one semester at a time and may request an additional semester course segment to continue in the fall.
