Step 2: The Cure. 🔥
Once the shell comes out of the mold, the job isn’t finished. Proper curing is one of the most important stages in producing a high-quality carbon fiber helmet.
Carbon fiber relies on the resin system bonding the layers together into one rigid composite structure. Correct cure time and controlled conditions allow that resin to fully harden, stabilize the shell and maintain the intended shape and strength of the finished helmet.
Rush the cure, and you risk compromising the consistency of the composite. Give it the time it requires, and you get the rigid, lightweight shell carbon fiber is known for.

Step 3: Surface Inspection. 🔍
Before a Daytona helmet moves into the final stages of assembly, every shell goes through a detailed surface quality inspection.
Our team checks for any surface contamination, imperfections, molding inconsistencies, or cosmetic flaws that could affect the finish or final build quality.
Catching issues here ensures only properly finished shells continue down the production line.
Inspect. Verify. Approve. Then assemble.

Step 4: Paint & Finish. 🎨
Once a shell clears surface inspection, it moves into our paint facility where consistency becomes the priority.
