Last week, we made our annual Cotton With A Cause donation to our closest neighbors at McLeod Health Children’s Hospital in Florence, SC!

Those 30 Covered in Cotton throws donated will be given to families in our community who find themselves with a child sick or hurting in the hospital. Each locally grown and sewn cotton throw is more than a physical comfort to hold, but itself holds the prayers and hard fought faith of our own family.

Ten years ago, our son Tobin battled for his life against bacterial meningitis and emergency brain surgery. We spent 35 long days in a children’s hospital and know the exhaustion and hardships of such a season. We also know the blessing and hope of a community who loved, supported and prayed for us - even a special nurse who gifted us a blanket during our hospital stay.

The Lord miraculously healed our Tobin in every way, and He also graciously gifted us the opportunity to share our story and family farm through Covered in Cotton and our Cotton With A Cause mission - donating one cotton throw for every ten that we sell.

Our mission wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our Covered in Cotton family, and so as always, we say ‘thank you!’ to each and everyone of you! What a joy to continue to witness the blessing of a community that loves, supports and prays for its neighbors.
