With Fall being right around the corner and the weather starting to cool down you know what that means, it's time to catch some fish. I'm still booking my Fall and Winter days. I still have days available, so give me a call and get your day booked. With one of the biggest hourly tournaments coming to town where you win like the pros the Sealy tournament September 15,16,and 17th I would love to be the one to try to put you on a money fish. I still have a few days right there around the tournament available. If anyone is looking to come out give me a call. The Sealy tournament is always a great one to be involved in. They have great payout and bring out a lot of anglers. Here are a few pictures from the past few years around this time.

Had a blast with this young man this morning can't wait until tomorrow! Water temp hot but we still managed to have a good morning. Every fish we caught came on a drop shot or a big worm on a shakey head. We fished a few brush piles in about 10 foot of water first then moved to a few pond dams and main lake points in 15 to 20 foot. No big fish today but some nice unders and a few small slots. Hope this helps anyone that's coming out to Lake Fork. I am also running back to school trips for 450 for a full day and 275 for half day.

It's been a while since I posted anything but Lake Fork was good to my clients last week. Numbers weren't great but we had some good ones. Best one was a 8.14. Mainly everything we caught came on a 3/4oz shakey head with a 12in zoom ole monster worm color is plum apple. We also caught a few on a carolina rig and a dropshot. I am rigging the carolina rig with a 1oz weight with a 4 foot leader and using a 3ott hook. Using a watermelon red magic fluke for the bait. For my dropshot I am using a #1 rigging hook with about a 16in leader with a 5/16oz weight and for the bait I'm using a zoom 4in finesse worm in red or plum color. Mainly all of my fish are coming out 15-18ft of water on main lake points, humps and pond dams. Hera are some pics of a few we caught last week. I still have plenty of days open if anyone wants to come out. I would love to have you! Thanks

Here are some pictures from the whole month of March of my clients and a report. This is pretty much what I did all month long. The current water temperature where I was on Friday was 61degrees. I have been starting out in the morning throwing a under spin hard head color white, size 3/8. I'll throw a skinny dipper on the back of it or a little dipper in the color white. I'm pretty much going site fishing the rest of the day. They've been on beds great the month of March some days are better than others. Mainly all I've been flipping when I'm seeing them is a speed crawl or a pit boss with the color Okeechobee crawl on the pit boss and huckleberry on the speed crawl. Im rigging my Texas rig with bobber stop, 5/16 oz tungsten, and a size 3 hook. That's pretty much what I'm doing right now. If you want to catch fish you may not have the best number day or you may have a great day, but you can for sure guarantee you can catch them on fork site fishing right now. I still have available days in April and May if anyone's looking to come out. I would love the opportunity to be able to take you. Thanks

Had a great time fishing with these young men this weekend! Here are some pictures from Saturday and today. I still have days available for the fall if you're thinking about coming out. Give me a shout! I'd love to take you out and try to get you on them. Every one of these fish come on Carolina rig but two. The other two were on a drop shot. I am setting the boat in about 20ft of water and casting up to about 16ft. That's about all we did this weekend to catch them. Thanks Eric

Lake Fork Report 5/23/2021

The water level on Lake Fork is currently 100% full (403.28) and the surface temperatures range from 68-74 degrees depending on the day. The lake is overall in great shape setting us up for a terrific summer season.

This past week I have been starting out my mornings fishing various shell beds before heading back to the shallows to check on the last remaining bed-fish and fry guarders. It’s important to note, as of this morning (5-23-21) I am finding we are just about done catching bed fish this time of year. I am doing a lot of running and beginning to check out some deep spots.

We’ve had an epic frog bite here on Lake Fork the last week or so with one client catching a beautiful 9.5 and later a 7 with a bunch of good slot fish mixed in. By the end of the week, we were catching fish out deeper on Crankbaits, C-Rig and Swimbaits. We are still not seeing a whole bunch of fish off shore but starting to catch a few good ones.

If you are planning to come out to Lake Fork here in the next couple of weeks, this report should hold up and help y’all out. Have a great Memorial Day weekend and y’all be safe.
