But today I wanted to share the reason why I love Peter so much with you all…… so keep on reading 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
My love for Peter runs deep and stems from my childhood🐰💗🐰
When I was a little girl growing up in England, every Easter break we would go and visit the Lake District. We used to stay in a farm cottage just outside of Keswick ⛰️🌳⛰️
If you are a Beatrix Potter fan you will know that she used to spend her summer holidays in the Lake District, and this is where she got her inspiration for her first story, Peter Rabbit. 💙🐰💙
As you walk and hike around the Lake District you can see how she was inspired by Mr McGregor’s garden, where Mrs. Tiggy Winkle lived at the bottom of the tree and Jeremy Fisher’s home on the edge of the lake.
You can truly see how this beautiful part of the UK influenced her stunning stories.🪵🌳🐰🦔🐸
The Lake District has a very special place in my heart. I really hope one day I get to take my Husband and my Bugs there.🌳🪵⛰️
