Grace Covers Boutique was founded by myself, Michelle Swindle. The name, Grace Covers, comes from my own personal journey with life. My mother passed away 6 years ago from stage 4 lung cancer. It was then that my life went completely black. I didn't know how to live my life without my mom. I was stuck in a hole and didn't know how to get out. My mom told me before she passed that I was her saving grace. Those words will forever be embedded in my mind.
I never imagined I would one day start my own business. I have two people to thank because I've sat in the background watching them with their business and they have given me the courage and faith to step out and do what I love. Destiny Lucas and Lyndsey Looper, thank you for being an inspiration to me. Both of you have unknowingly pushed me to step outside my comfort zone. With that said, once I decided I was going full force with my business, I had to decide on a name. I won't go into my personal life the past three years, but it has definitely been a whirlwind. Many days I didn't want to go on. I was tired and ready to give up. But my sweet mom somehow always reminded me that grace covers all. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done, God gives us grace. I was sitting in my aunt's garage one day and the name Grace Covers immediately popped in my head and I knew that was the beginning of starting my own business.
Grace Covers Boutique exists because God planted in me the creations and ideas that I will now be able to bring to life and share with all of you. High quality DIY clothing, jewelry, and home decor at a price every family can afford.
