I finished a scarf made out of this yarn. It looked close enough to camouflage colors that I decided to make this hat out of the leftovers for my main squeeze. This is my sweet grandson who spends time with grandma most weekdays. He sure makes that little hat look good!

I keep trying to get my creative mojo to return! In the past I was obsessed with making: crocheted objects, knitted objects, jewelry, fairy houses, locker hooking; I tried many different craft types and loved doing all of them! But, I'm kind of stuck in a crafter's block at this time.

Brandy Hewkin shared this TikTok with me today. This is how I felt about all of my crafty interests. It centered me and calmed me. I'm so happy for this veteran's ability to improve his life with his creativity!!!

Many of you know that nearly a year and a half ago my husband of 44+ years suddenly passed from this life. He was the love of my life, the father of my children and the man who stole my heart in my youth and then forgot to return it when he departed from this life!

This path of grief has been treacherous but I'm trying to get my footing. Knitting and crocheting has always been a passion and I'm finally back to enjoying it again! I will endeavor to stay on top of this page better in the future

Hot off the needles —- in fact I just wetted it down and shaped it and that’s why it’s on a towel! It’s hat season right around the corner and I love making hats. I’ll be sharing the ones I like best so come back when you can.
