Last weekend at Ren Fair, I semi-happy (meaning a couple of beers) young woman, laughing about with her pirate friends, asked me to give her a pirate name.
Allow me to set the stage.
This young lady was Lovely Black! And I mean that with all admiration. Her skin was dark, not quite ebony, but dark.
Her form was light, and she was soooo full of life. And so lovely!
And I say that as an artist.
She struck a pose before my table. "Lady, will you name me?"
Oh, what a task! What an honor!
I scrutinized her, and she asked again for her pirate name.
"I'm thinking," I told her to keep her engaged.
And then I said, "You are Dangerous Lady Black."
She loved it!!!
How awesome it was for me to give a lady pirate her first name!!!
