It’s been a busy weekend : Friday Erlanger / Elsmere Block Party at Lloyd , Saturday attended the monthly county Mayors meeting hosted by the City of Elsmere, then Lloyd’s Band fundraiser car wash, attended church , Erlanger Lions First Charity Car Show. Getting out in the community seeing friends and meeting new ones is so much fun. Supporting local. Plus did some campaigning in between the rain 🇺🇸❤️ feeling blessed. I would be honored to have your vote on November 3td.

Mark your calendars for the annual IBA car show: RED, WHITE, and VROOM (formerly Cars & Pipes) happening Saturday, August 29th 10am-2pm at the Kroger Town Center in front of Independence Cleaners! To celebrate 250 years of our nation’s freedom, this year’s show has no entry fee but we are asking for toy donations for the Steinford Toy Foundation.

We’ll have food vendors, live DJ, a balloon artist for the kids, raffles, prizes and giveaways.

Half of all proceeds raised will benefit Steinford Toy Foundation.

Good information for Kenton County residents effected by Tuesdays storms .

Kenton County has declared a state of emergency following Tuesday’s severe weather.

Heavy rain, flooding and high winds caused widespread damage across the County, including downed trees and power lines, property damage and thousands of power outages.

As cleanup continues, residents are encouraged to take advantage of available resources, including the County’s trash voucher program for storm-related debris. Many cities are also establishing debris drop zones for residents. Contact your city government for information about locations, hours and what materials are accepted.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Rob Ervin to our team! Officer Ervin will serve as the School Resource Officer for Gateway Community & Technical College's Edgewood Campus.

During his law enforcement career, Officer Ervin served with the Covington Police Department. After retiring from the department, he continued serving his community as a School Resource Officer and has 14 years of SRO experience.

School Resource Officers are critical piece of our community. They help create a safe and secure learning environment, building trust between students, staff and law enforcement. Their presence allows for quicker responses to emergencies, while also providing mentorship and education on safety, conflict resolution, and responsible decision-making. Come out this Saturday, August 15th to support the Marching Juggernauts at our annual car wash! 10 am- 2 pm at the VFW at 4435 Dixie Hwy., Elsmere. Donations appreciated!
