Can you believe the end result?😲

This casserole spoon 🥄 is produced by the National Silver Company introduced the silver-plate pattern “Narcissus” in 1935 in a daffodil repousse style.

This piece was fun to work and to have become a bracelet that really stands out. The pattern is gorgeous and will be elevate any outfit day or night.

Playing a sleuth detective on this one! 🧐

I purchased this gorgeous patterned spoon in a small lot of mismatched pieces. It is not marked on the back with mfg name, so I did some detective work.🥄🕵️

Turns out this spoon was created by Nils Johan, a famous Swedish kitchen and tableware manufacturer founded in 1888. The pattern name is Flowers and Scrolls. It is art nouveau floral embossing with detailed scrollwork on handles and was made in Sweden from the early to mid-20th century.

I find the history fascinating on some of these vintage silverware. I wonder whose kitchen or dining table did this flatware sit and serve, and how did it end up in America.

Either way it will still be treasured with a new chapter as a ring or pendant and will have a new history to tell.
