So, what exactly are we doing at the Corning Repair Cafe on Saturday? Here's a handy graphic to figure out what you can bring and what we can work on.

Diagnosis of a problem will be our first priority. What is broken? What is wrong? Can we fix it?

Then we will get to work on troubleshooting the repair. We can't promise you'll walk away with a functioning item, but we will sure try our hardest!

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, April 25, the Library will join a coalition of local organizations for the area's first Repair Café.
The Repair Café invites community members to bring their broken household items to be repaired under the guidance of skilled volunteers, who will help troubleshoot through the repair process.
The Repair Café will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 149 W William St. in Corning, NY, 12 noon to 4 PM.

In addition to the Library, participating organizations include Steuben County Habitat for Humanity ReStore and the Steuben County Habitat for Humanity Tool Library, the Makerspace at Corning Community College, and Southern Tier Reduces.

(WENY) — Two “repair cafés” are coming to the area over the next two weekends to help repurpose and repair broken items. As the price of almost everything continues to
