James Hickey
James is the woodworker behind Winterland Woodworks. Woodworking had been a hobby for him until 2017, when Winterland Woodworks was founded.

As a Minnesota local who has been passionate about many forms of art, James spent his life between a music studio and a wood shop, exploring the possibilities of both art expressions. James has made furniture, toys and other items as a hobby for his wife Juliana, son, daughter and dogs. A lot of the products you see in our store started out as he worked with his family in mind. With

her business administration and consulting background, Juliana supports the Winterland Woodworks operations. Because she was born in Brazil, Juliana encourages the use of exotic and foreign wood varieties in our work. Juliana also enjoys reading, doing yoga and making jewelry with wood scraps from the production of our other products.

Coming together! Doors assembled and mounted! The cabinet is 2 feet deep so I decided some sliding shelves in the middle would help with access. Waiting on drawer slides for the bottom! @ C**n Rapids, Minnesota
