We haven't posted in some time but it doesn't mean we're gone.
Getting a skatepark built doesn't happen over night or in year. Here is where we are with it. We have presented to city council, attended events and had events to promote the skatepark. The skatepark did make it to the city's recommendation plan to be possibly be built. But if you ask me when, I can't give anyone that answer. All sk8conway can do is continue to promote the idea and have events. There are two petitions our there for a skatepark in Conway, sign and share either one to show support. If you live in Conway and have space for us to set up some ramps and obstacles, please let me know. As much as we would like to have a skate day once a month, the cost for one day insurance is pretty pricey. We are open to all ideas and any assistance.
