Thanks to our great friend John C. Garand back in 1928 we now have this absolute tank of a rifle. General George S. Patton called it “the greatest battle implement ever devised”. The M1 replaced the bolt-action M1903 Springfield as the U.S. service rifle in 1936, and was itself replaced by the selective-fire M14 rifle on March 26, 1958.

This is a WWII US M1 combat helmet that has been restored for reenactment use.
•
Front seam swivel bale with Westinghouse liner.
•
This helmet has been repainted with factory correct early WWII olive drab M1 Helmet paint and textured with cork just as it would come from the factory.
•
This is ideal for newer reenactors as alternative sources are much more expensive.
•
Shell and liner are original, chinstraps, leather parts, and webbing are repro.
