I submitted 3 images to the final round of Portrait Masters international awards and all 3 of them won bronze award!!!
My top image was Spartan

The images are judges by a panel of top photographers from around the world so I'm pretty happy with my first submissions.

Most adorable face ever!
This tiny little kit was surrendered at 4 weeks old; His new owner had gotten him from a breeder to be a pet but within a few days determined they could not take care of a fox and surrendered him to Walking Wild. Sam and I volunteer at the rescue, but I genuinely feel like we are the ones who benefit, not the forest puppies. We can't wait to get our weekly dose of dopamine.

Busy week for shoots this week: Yesterday Leah Beck took me to Kelley's Island for Mother's Day. We took the ferry over with the car, ate lobster at the Marina, and most importantly we did Gunner's shoot. Here's a sneak peek of his amazing modeling skills.

Got to shoot some coyotes this week.....with my camera of course. I am currently working with Walking Wild Rescue to document all of their residents. Among them are 4 coyotes (captive born) that were surrendered from urine/fur farms. For those of you who come from farms like me and possibly hunt/shoot them (with fi****ms) to keep them from your livestock, these guys have never been in the wild. They are permanent residents of the rescue.
If you know of a rescue or charity that could use a photo shoot for fundraisers or any other need please share my info with them.

Our Story

I am a mom of four, an equestrian (yes, I am a show mom), an animal rescuer, and a lifetime photographer. I started my photography journey as a toddler in the dark room with my dad. I took it as a 4-H project and it was my major in college. I started with film and am now creating wedding, engagement, and senior portraits with beautiful natural lighting. I love drama, color and emotion in capturing those special life moments and creating something unique and beautiful.
