AS MANY OF YOU ALREADY KNOW, DUE TO THE UNTIMELY PASSING OF MY BEAUTIFUL SOUL MATE AND WIFE, MRS. TREE, THIS PAST FEBRUARY, I HAVE CLOSED THE BUSINESS, AND SOLD THE FARM. THERE WILL BE NO TREE SALES, OR PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE PROPERTY. I WISH TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO SUPPORTED US OVER THE 55 YRS WE RETAILED IN COLUMBUS, AND THE FINAL 36 WE OPERATED THE TREE FARM. Its hard to believe its been almost 2 months since I lost my beloved, soulmate, wing-woman, and wife, lil Flipper! Likewise its been 8 days since many of us got together, to celebrate her magnificent life! I wish to thank all of you who came and participated in this spectacular event. There are many people to thank: Jo-anne, Julio, Erik, Zsa Zsa, Dave, Gwen, Erin, Miguel, Aria, Den, Alberto, Octavio, and Lil Bob who made this event so incredible. Special thanks goes to Emma Silvera, one of Flippers closest friends, who spent countless hours preparing photos, and “Flipper art” for the COL. She also gave a heartfelt presentation of the love that was shared between them. But my greatest appreciation goes to Phil Russman, a friend of 20+ years, who put together, not one, not two BUT THREE videos set forth herein. First is about “flying flipper”; the second, is a "farewell to flipper" piece (get your kleenex---the WHOLE BOX) ; and the third incorporates both of the first two videos, and the entire COL itself. Phil produced the first two videos working with over 800 pictures, none of which I selected! He picked/chose all with little or no input from me. Then he filmed the entire COL; incorporated his first two videos, and generated a video of the whole event, in about 48 hours! Importantly, Phil can produce these pieces with a comprehension of love and benevolence, that is simply masterful! I am sure you will enjoy. Meanwhile, this piece was actually completed last TUESDAY! Its really MY FAULT, this has not been published until today! As we worked out a bit of editing and adding a few more photos. But if you couldn’t make it, DON’T MISS THIS! Many people told me this was the best COL they had ever attended. It is a little long @ 1.5 hours, which is about the length of a church service, but hopefully this will be more entertaining haha So please crack a brew, uncork a bottle of Jesus Juice, or grab a mug of A&W and enjoy the celebration of one of the most incredible people you may have never fully known TIL NOW! Even if you came to the event, this really is better than the real deal!

I wish to thank all of you for all your kind words, condolences and heart felt sentiments. It is very clear that Flipper was loved and cared for deeply. This is the second reminder of Flippers COL for Saturday April 6. If you are coming, it would be helpful if you post so; PM me here or email me, just so we have a basic headcount. Its not essential but helpful. If you don't know, or change your mind to join us at last minute that's fine as well.

It is with the utmost extreme sadness and grief that I share that the most beautiful, sweet, sexy, awesome, courageous, talented, and beloved, wife, soulmate, companion and life loving soul departed to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on February 16. My dearest “Lil Flipper” aka “Pretty Petunia” aka “Nanou” aka Diane Elizabeth Gerard-Patterson, after a several years of battle with BVFTD (Dementia). She passed in her sleep, laying next to me and near her beloved dog Lobo. The shock of her loss is impossible to share with mere words,…all of you that knew her can relate . It seems incredibly unfair when sweet souls like Flipper leave us so early. She was a gifted artist, karaoke singer, paraglider pilot, ballerina/dancer and all around sweetheart. Flipper didn’t have a combative/mean spirit. We NEVER fought...ever. It wasn’t really her “time” to go, but she was called home anyway. There will NEVER be another” Lil Flipper” She was so incredibly courageous throughout this struggle. We were together for 22 years, and married the last 4. It is simply impossible for me, right now, to share all the photos/memories etc. but here are a few…I/we will see her again very soon. TO MY BELOVED FLIPPER: You are now free from that ugly dementia which robbed you of so much. God Bless you my sweet beautiful Flipper. YOU WERE MY LIFE!
