We have just completed our latest Z scale T-Trak-Z module showcasing our new line of steam servicing kits from Archistories! The Redbank module represents the PRR Redbank coaling tower that still stands today along the banks of the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania.

The video shows how we built out the double T-Trak-Z module and an overview of the techniques used.

AZL's all new line of Z scale trucks is getting close to release! AZL dropped the first images of the final products. WOW they are detailed! AZL's is using all new blister packaging. The first releases will be two-packs. Four packs and undecorated trucks will be released at a later date. More to come as we get closer to release.

Due to inclement weather and the fact Z scale plows are unable to move much snow expect delays in shipping of orders.

We also recommend anyone affected by the weather to stay indoors and work on your railroads.

We are getting close to tree time! Today was all about static grass and the undergrowth. The scene we are representing on our latest T-Trak-Z module is in a wooded and hilly area along a river. Se these were the elements we are looking to capture. We are expecting to add the most trees to this module compared to our other builds.

The glue is still wet. We sprayed the scene with watered down matt medium to help hold the scenic material in place. Once dry, we will go over it again, and possible a third time in places. Then it is on to touch up and trees.

The river area will be our last section to be detailed. So definitely another weekend or two.... or three to go.

More progress today. The past week, I continued to touch up the terrain on my latest T-trak-Z module. With the terrain finally worked out, today was ballasting the track, and beginning the to add soils. Even though I am using Rokuhan track, I still like to ballast the edges and between the two mainline tracks. Woodland scenics fine ballas is used. Everything is being held down with Matte Medium, and a light spray to make sure all is secured.

I am going to let the module dry thoroughly then run a vacuum over it to remove any loose material. Then it is touchup followed by more soil. Then I am on to the ground cover. I am moving into my favorite part of the build, which is the landscaping and details!
