Finished Object Friday! 🧦✨

This week we're celebrating not one, but two pairs of beautiful Vanilla Socks knitted up by Joyce using yarn from the Emma's Yarn Color of the Month Club!
💛 The yellow pair features the June 2026 Color of the Month, while 💙 the blue pair was knit using the January 2026 Color of the Month. It's always fun to see how differently these monthly colorways knit up—and these simple Vanilla Socks let the yarn take center stage.

If you've been curious about Emma's Color of the Month Club, now is a great time to stop by! We are completely sold out of the January colorway, but we still have a few skeins of June's colorway available for anyone looking to cast on their next project.

🧶 WIP Wednesday 🧶

Our Doodle Bootcamp students have officially moved beyond planning and into the stitching stage, and it's so much fun watching each project take on a personality of its own!

🌊 Sydney's Ocean-themed Fingerless Mitts are being made using the Fingerless Mitt 2 base Doodle pattern and arnaceous Bronto DK yarn

🌲Victoria's Woodland-inspired Fingerless Mitts are being stitched up using the Fingerless Mitt 2 base Doodle pattern and Yarnaceous Bronto DK, paired with a few favorite stash yarns for contrast.

🐔 Jennifer's Chicken Doodle Cup Cozy and Socks are using charts from the Farm expansion deck, Cup Cozy and Cuff Down Sock base Doodle patterns, and are stitched in Heritage Sock with stash yarns for the contrast colors. Last night's challenge? Adding the chickens' beaks, feet, and combs with duplicate stitch!

One of the best things about Doodles is seeing how the same system can create completely different projects while helping knitters build new skills along the way. We can't wait to watch these WIPs continue to grow over the coming weeks!

👯‍♀️ If you were in the shop yesterday and thought you were seeing double, you weren't imagining things!

This week's Finished Object Friday celebrates a surprise knit-along between friends. When Mary and Susan both fell in love with Cascade Anchor Bay Hand Paints in Mermaid, they decided to cast on matching yarn—but with one twist: their pattern choices would remain a secret until their projects were finished.

After weeks of knitting, yesterday was finally reveal day... and both were shocked to discover they had chosen the exact same pattern! 🤭🥰

The result? Two beautiful versions of the Nuance Tee by Julia Piro, knit in the same yarn, the same colorway, and completely independently of one another.

Honestly, we can't think of a more perfect ending to a fun knit-along between friends. 💙🧶

🎉 Finished Object Friday! 🎉

We have been absolutely blown away by the creativity coming out of our recent Colorwork 101 class and Doodle Bootcamp workshop series! These adorable Doodle Cup Cozies were stitched by students as they practiced colorwork techniques, built confidence reading charts, managed floats, and explored the endless possibilities of Pacific Knit Co.'s Doodle system.

From dinosaurs and mountain landscapes to vibrant koi fish, every project reflects its maker's unique style—and we love seeing how different each one turns out, even when students are practicing the same techniques.

Congratulations to everyone who cast on, tried something new, and finished a project this week! 🧶✨ Whether you're taking your very first steps into colorwork or continuing your Doodle journey, we're so excited to see your creativity come to life.

✨ WIP Wednesday ✨

This week’s works in progress come straight from our Doodle Bootcamp crew! 🧶

Yesterday marked the kickoff of our four-week workshop series, and this week’s homework is a Doodle Cup Cozy swatch! These colorful little projects are helping participants practice chart reading and colorwork techniques while testing the yarn and color combinations they’ll use in the larger custom Doodle projects they’ll be creating over the next few weeks. As an added bonus, these cup cozies will double as gauge swatches, helping ensure their larger projects are set up for success before they cast on.

One of the best parts of Doodling is that no two projects are exactly alike, and we can’t wait to watch each stitcher’s vision take shape as the class progresses. ❤️
