So here’s an update from my urgent care visit last night. They said that I was more than likely having withdrawal symptoms from the medication but the more I think about that the more I disagree. I got that at sensation/smell before I removed the patch so that couldn’t be it. Right? Any idea my nurse friends?

Having severe adverse reaction to new fibromyalgia medication that pain management doctor put me on. I knew I couldn’t take morphine but figured so a low dosage wouldn’t affect me this badly. It was for the buprenorphine patch. I guess it built up in my system and started getting this horrible sense of smell/taste that is so nauseating I can’t stand it. Can not keep anything down and will not go away. Have not been able to work the last few days. If not better by this afternoon when Ryan gets home from work may have to get him or Terry to take me to urgent care. The sensation is unbearable. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this bad and I’ve been through so truly terrible health scares in the past and this is one of the most severe that I can remember.
