Having customers considerate enough to share new ideas with a business manufacturing what it sells makes for a relationship between producer and consumer that is all but extinct these days. Most people think of mashed potatoes and fries, but potatoes have a long history in baking too! For my own cinnamon rolls, I add potatoes to the dough. They help create a soft, pillowy texture that stays fresh longer.

Just another reminder that sometimes the most unexpected ingredients make the best baked goods. 💜
