Recycling doesnβt work like it should right now but that presents a pretty interesting opportunity...
β»οΈ Bottom line the United States doesnβt actually recycle trash we collect and process recyclable materials and ship them off to far away countries where they *try* to recycle them
β»οΈ If we want to fix recycling we need to have our recycling capabilities in the good βol USA πΊπΈ and if we actually had a strong market for recycled products
β»οΈ One way to jump start our domestic recycling market is if local, state, and federal governments mandated the purchase of recycled good. More recycling infrastructure would not only be good for the environment but would also create a ton of manufacturing jobs
β»οΈ Cutting back on plastic, buying products with recycled materials, and reducing food waste can all help reduce our waste and recycling problems
