About the time that my best friend past away, I was blessed with the news rhat we were expecting. Yay.

Soren made his grand appearance on July 19th. A smidge bit early and came home on thursday at a ehopping 5 pounds.

We apologize for how life has been a bit wild but buckle up... we are set to close on our acreage *hopefully* by the end of the month.

We cannot wait to get situated and settled. We hope to one day bring back crafts but hoping to just have more homestead content soon. I am not an influencer. I really don't make a great content creator either... but maybe it will be fun to share some crafting, gaming, gardening, and other of those sorts of shorts.

I have been thinking about all my thousand plans for life... like I do a lot.

We are still waiting on the home buying process. It is a little more complicated this go around. I still have my fingers and toes crossed.

If that works out then all my dreams and hopes and wishes could come true over the next couple years. The sheep, the highland cows, peacocks and just living the 90's dream.

One part is I hope to have a dedicated crafting building and make videos and go live teaching people to make things. I want to make all the things. I have more joy helping other people make and learn new things than I do trying to sell you something. So hopefully one day, I can make all the things with you all.

We are officially on our new journey. Our favorite PR guy is no longer married to the military. Lets wish him luck on his new adventure.... literally doing what he was doing. 🤣

Now lets beef up our social media presence so we can do more with that and less time with other things. I have goals. 😋

We brought home a new sheep! We have had her picked out for what feels like months BUT I think it has been maybe a month. She is one of my favorite breed of sheep. A 4H program was switching to another breed of sheep or a different farm animal. I ca 't remember. I am so lucky to have her. I cannot wait to introduce you to her. She is currently in quarantine but hoping to get her out qith the other girls soon. They all need a nice bath though. It has been a bit wet here.

We adopted a little ram a few weeks ago. He was sickly from the start. Unfortunately he did not make it. We had thought he turned the corner but unfortunately did not make it through the weekend despite out best efforts.

In an effort to be transparent and share the good times and the bad. Homesteading isn't always the cute moments. Sometimes it is the hard times too.

Shearlock, you were a sweetheart. Thank you for the few weeks we had together. ♥️

Today I graduate with my second Master's degree. With a 4.0.

While I love being a mom. I also love accomplishing goals that I have for myself. My kids will see a mom who doesn't just sacrifice for them, but a mom who also puts herself as a priority as well.

There was a short period of my life that I had to take a step back from working. Which made me feel incredibly lazy.... but for most my life, I have always tried to be doing something else.

So here is to my next chapter.

Here is to continuing to learn to homestead. Here is to continuing to homeschool. Here is to crafting, family, and fun.

Congratulations to all the spring 2026 graduates. ❤️ You made it.

Today is one of those days that I wish I could snap my fingers and win the lottery?

Who is with me?

Kyle and I came across a unique property that we can afford but the uniqueness is not making lenders happy.

Unfortunately, unless I encounter a 160k windfall or we convince a bank to take a chance.... we are moving on to the next hair brained idea I have.

So... still up in the air.

Other news though.... classes are DONE! Besties, next friday i will hold both a double major as an undergrad AND two separate master degrees.

Your girl is smart.

I have one paper and one presentation left (they go together). I am hoping to finish the paper tonight.

So we will be having way more animal and homestead content in the next couple weeks.

I do have an autoimmune disorder that is highly impacted by the sun and hot temps. Love that for me. So most of the videos that I film will be morning or early evening. Though Kyle will likely take his own.

We have a lot of projects we have on our list from fencing to building.

Have a few things behind the doors that may be in the works too. So woooo.

I also want to share some of the homeschool stuff we have been doing.
