My journey of self healing has taken me on a wild ride of self discovery and adventure. My journey of self-healing has been a transformative path of discovery, growth, and renewal. My story begins in 2008, when a friend convinced me to attend a craft show. While there, I purchased a bar of cold process soap that completely captivated me. I loved everything about it—the scent, the rich lather, and

the way it left my skin feeling nourished. When the bar was gone and I couldn’t find more, I decided to learn how to make it myself. As I researched and studied the art of soap making, I became increasingly aware of the harmful chemicals commonly found in bath, body, and household cleaning products. This discovery sparked a deep passion for creating safer, non-toxic alternatives for my family, my home, and my childcare business. Before long, others began asking questions and showing interest in the products I was making. Encouraged by their curiosity, my mother and I launched Nature’s Way, offering non-toxic bath and beauty products alongside effective, healthy cleaning solutions. At the time, I was raising three young children while operating a home daycare, which was our primary source of income. With limited time and resources, Nature’s Way eventually had to take a back seat and ultimately came to a close. In 2020, with the world changing during COVID and my children grown, my passion was reignited. I launched Mind Body Soul, a business deeply rooted in my personal healing journey following the sudden loss of my husband in 2013. That profound loss left my life shattered and required deep emotional and spiritual healing. Through self-discovery and soul work, Mind Body Soul was born. Today, Mind Body Soul represents far more than bath and body products or candles. It is a reflection of my purpose: to create thoughtfully crafted products and services that encourage self-discovery, self-healing, self-care, and soul nourishment. It is an invitation to reconnect with yourself, heal old wounds, rediscover your passions, and step fully into your dreams. Mind Body Soul is about getting intimate with yourself—listening inward, nurturing your well-being, and honoring your journey. I am honored to partner with Dawn Riley of New Beginnings Spa, and together we are dedicated to offering meaningful ways to nurture, restore, and pamper yourself as you walk your own path of personal and spiritual discovery.
