She thought I would need to blow-dry and stretch her hair first…

But when your goal is healthy hair growth, every decision matters.

My client came in wanting a braid down that would protect her natural hair and support her growth journey. Instead of reaching for heat to make my job easier, I recommended that we skip the blow dryer altogether.

After a proper shampoo and conditioning service, I gently blotted out the excess water, applied the appropriate leave-in, oils, and moisturizer, and braided her hair without tension.

No heat.�No unnecessary pulling.�No shortcuts.
And guess what? The braid down still came out neat, clean, and secure. 🙌🏾🤩

She couldn’t stop saying “Wow!” throughout the appointment and was amazed that her hair could look this neat without being stretched first.
My favorite part?
