Hoping for a reality check for a customer complaint I received on Ebay for this item. This is a new-in-the-box toy from my parent's toystore when I was a kid. I took photographs of every nook and cranny of the toy. Are these pics misleading in any way? Here's the complaint from the customer:

"Hello, I received the growing up skipper doll and appreciate The fast shipping. However, I was disappointed in the condition of the box and the doll as the listing marked this as new condition. I do not consider it in new condition. The doll was loose in the box, the box top was just sitting on the top and when unpacked the cellophane wrap was not even attached to the box. I would not have Paid the price that I did if I knew the item was not new. Honestly, I would not have paid over $100 for this. I do not like to leave negative feedback and would like to see if we could resolve this first. Please let me know your thoughts. I look forward to hearing back from you. I have included a couple pictures. Thanks"

I've sat here for about 1/2 an hour trying to figure out how the buyer could possibly be mislead and I'm coming up empty.

The movie Message From Space wasn't popular in the USA. Mattel toys marketed this in the USA under the Sh**un line of toys--completely unrelated.

Rare to find one of these these complete like this unless you spend tons of money to buy a NIB item.

This vintage 12 inch IG-88 bounty hunter figure is in excellent condition. It has been carefully stored and well taken care of, so it's sure to make the perfect addition to any collection. The guns and the bandolier are also in great shape, making this item even more desirable.

I'm the original owner of this figure. It's been in storage for nearly 40 years. I've intentionally NOT cleaned it up beyond a light dusting because I don't want to damage it. There's a slight blemish on the back that I think was from the original packaging--like a small dot of rubber glue to adhere the figure to the package to keep it from sliding around.

I'm not a professional condition grader, but my personal "Star Wars guy" opinion is it's really nice. If you'd like more pics don't be afraid to ask. 100% original--no reproduction parts.

Preserved from my childhood!

I was that kid that took the toy out of the box, put it on the shelf and never touched it again. I'm listing alot of these items for sale on ebay along with various items I've picked up over the years.

Our family was in the toy business for most of the 1970s. We routinely took one or two "rare" items off the shelf and hid them away in storage. I'm starting to unbox alot of them now.

I'm basically opening a 50 year old time capsule from World of Toys & Hobbies.
