In honor of my 5th wedding anniversary, I’m doing a deep dive on the invitation suite I made for myself and all the things I did wrong.

Even with a design background, doing this was harder than I thought. And the longer I do this, the more I realize what I do not know.

And sure, a lot of amateurs can make a nice, simple invite suite once (after they figure out printing, material sourcing, mailing, etc). But the key to doing this at a professional level is maintaining quality and a great client experience consistently, even when every project and design is different.

Still very proud of the invitation suite and wedding I put together before I was an industry professional. This is what started it all 🖤

I liked to call this vibe “if Harry Styles wore Gucci to a glam rodeo” 🪩🌵🎀❤️‍🔥

The first of a few fun things we designed in partnership with the amazing for a really fun corporate event over the holidays.

This design included a lot of really ornate custom illustrations, and was cut into 4 layers and blended with some velvet drapery to be the centerpiece of the event.
