Chattanooga, Tennessee, has a rich history of leather working, including several saddle shops that sold to settlers moving west. There are still two large saddle companies in the area today. Chattanooga Leather Works was created behind the concept of bringing the combination of modern leather craftsmanship and a classic, timeless look to the blade industry. These sheaths provide an elegant upgrade

to your favorite fixed blades. Using the design expertise of Ryan Johnson, founder of RMJ Tactical, LLC, Chattanooga Leather Works has designed one of the first kydex/leather hybrid sheaths. This carry option gives its users the retention properties of kydex as well as the quiet, timeless feel of leather. Chattanooga Leather Works hand-crafts all of RMJ Tactical's leather products as well as sheaths for other companies and artists; including: Spartan Blades, Les George, Steve Schwartzer Knives, and Andrew Bawidamann. In addition to our growing and positive reputation in the blade industry, CLW is developing a line of home and every day goods for everyone who appreciates the quality of handcrafted leather working. Everyone talks about leather getting better with time, but what does that look like? This sheath (right) has been an experiment for the last two years. On the left, you see a brand new RMJ Sparrow, for comparison. Normally, we tell people to add some leather conditioner about every six months, depending upon the environment that they live in. With this sheath, I wanted to see what would happen if I totally neglected it, but carried it everyday. This is two years in, and as you can see, it has just gotten better with age. This one is an IWB carry, so it gets daily polish from clothing. It has lived on my waistline. I work, I sweat, and as I live my life, the sheath and knife get a story of their own.

Never leave home without your knife is something we should all live by. We are doing our best to make that even easier. Meet the new Single-Shot Bexar and Single-Shot Cadet card wallets. Each wallet will fit 3 cards per side and without adding too much excess bulk, a slipjoint internally. Unloaded Single-Shots (without a knife) are listed on our site at $95.
