A bit of a lo-fi post for New Comic Day as Kate and I are on the road this week with the family - this is the first Wednesday we’ve missed in a LONG time. Lots of great stuff out today! Absolute Batman 21 introduces ABSOLUTE TWO FACE, and we’ve got Absolute Green Arrow 2 (and reprints of 1) in as well. There are some other great books too, so let us know if we can set anything aside for you!

Parental PSA: getting to read a novel on the beach with kids is nigh-impossible. Try chucking an easy-to-digest comic book in your beach bag instead! Lobo #4 was an A+ beach read, and apparently the story continues in the Summer of Supergirl Special, so I’m glad we ordered a grip of them.

We just got in a cool set of ONE PIECE pops, recreating their iconic goodbye to Vivi at the end of the Alabasta Arc! They’re available individually for $14.99 each, so you can recreate as much of this scene as you want - or maybe you wanna make a crew of all Choppers! I’m not your boss. Available at Uptown now.

Absolute Batman first prints, cool keys, and a truly Outrageous Amount of trade paperbacks and Star Wars Funko Pops will be available at tomorrow morning. Buying Freeze still in effect as we dig ourselves out of a mountain of collections. see you at 11 am! Our next signing with Zach Weinersmith () is coming up SATURDAY JUNE 20th from 1-3 PM at our Uptown location at 398 Hillsdale Dr in Charlottesville, VA! He’ll be there in support of his new middle-grade graphic novel, SAWYER LEE AND THE QUEST TO JUST STAY HOME. We’ll have books available to buy or you can bring your own from home. See you there!

Ack! For some reason the Fresh Friday post didn't share to Facebook - was it our son graduating 4th grade? Was it the eight longboxes of books that came in that day?
