Priority number 1 in tight…
SEAL THE ICE! I’ve said it a lot, it takes no skill to shoot a puck on the ice. Don’t give away free goals.
Priority number 2: bring the hands over the top and project. It starts with our rotation. If we are not square BEFORE we push, our balance will be all over the place. Rotational sequencing is key in that aspect. Maintaining sagittal stability with this will unlock power and be great for hip health.
Proper muscle activation will make you faster and smoother (more efficient). Along with this, a proper route will maximize our coverage in box control.
