Are you looking for top quality, hand selected, trees, plants and shrubs that can be shipped directly to your doorstep? With all of the other companies on the internet selling small 4.5" size pots and small quart size plants, we wanted to offer our clients the real sizes that you may find at a local garden center. At PlantingTree, we only ship large full grown sizes. Our minimum size starts out at a 1 gallon container. This way, when you receive your plants, they are ready to go with a nice root system that will support the plant. You will save time and your plants can begin to grow. How it all started... When we were kids, we grew up working at our family owned nursery in upstate New York. It was always important to make sure that the trees were in a perfect row, and to discard the trees that we couldn't put our name on. It was constant upkeep and sales were only local to the homes that we landscaped. We then moved to the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. After growing our landscape installation division, we installed thousands of trees and shrubs on high-end residential properties. We always were asked by homeowners about getting more information about each plant or meeting them at the local garden centers to view some of the plants to see what they liked or disliked. We knew that their had to be a better way... Here at PlantingTree, we know what it takes to grow a healthy plant. We hand select each order and only select the largest and best plants that will succeed in your landscape. Most other online plant nurseries only ship small quart plants. Some are only 4 inches high... Our plants are full grown ready to plant at the sizes we specify. This greatly shortens the time it takes for your plants to mature. Our process starts with your selection of plants. Each plant has a specified grow zone attached to it. The grow zone identifies what areas that the plant will grow in. Each plant is carefully packaged in a special box designed for plants. The plant is then secured and shipped right to your door. How easy is that? No long lines at the garden center, and no mess in your car. All you do is open your boxes, plant, and water!
