A stellar 13'er to gather more than a dozen of your favorite humans around... We were blessed with the opportunity to build this13'×5' walnut table with16 chairs to go in this absolutely gorgeous space, this home is amazing and I can only imagine what it will look like when it is finished... This is the family's getaway mountain home so I am certain there are going to be many incredible memories made around this table and that is like the coolest thing ever...

Sometimes you just go All in...
That is exactly what this sweet fam did when they commissioned us for a full dining table + chairs set, 2 monastery tables, a small breakfast nook table set, some floating shelves, and of course a couple custom signs... Loved getting to know these guys, they were so great to work with!

At the end of it all when my life here is done I want these things to be said about my life... When stories of POC being treated unfairly + unjustly surface I have always felt proud that I can honestly say I am not racist. These last few days however, have had me doing a heart check and no I am not racist but I also have not really done a whole lot to show I am anti-racist. There is no longer room to be somewhere in the middle & not actively taking a stand because the silence says we're okay with continuing the cycle. The cycle of us white people believing that the issues of people of color are just their problems. We have the tendency to believe that when situations like this happen and a poc is murdered, that it is their fight and we're "supporting" them in it. In reality the weight falls on all of us. The system is not fairly built, and being aware of that as well as being content with it because it doesn't directly affect you is the reason it's still broken. Your voice is needed too. No one else can play your part.

Life happens + we grow around the table.
Tables are considered to be the center of any home, as they have multifunctional purposes that must be taken into account: people eat here, they have deep conversations, children do their homework, birthdays are celebrated at the table, the family organizes board games here and so on. Happy Fence Friday Friends... That's a thing, right? 😄 Small spaces don't have to be boring. This client was limited on space, so we came up with a simple yet modern design. When I say small + simple that does not mean lacking in detail, even the simple jobs receive our full attention to detail. Lights in the steps, recessed lighting around the top, & the amazing misting system are just a few of the things I Love about this project, but those beds at the fence those are my fave!!! T H I S!!! THIS is everything! This is why I do what I do + create what I create. This is why I sit in my bed in the morning til my first cup of coffee is gone. This is watching my girls getting along and being friends. This is having my totally amazing husband bring that first cup of coffee to me in bed EVERY SINGLE morning! This is why I spend hours creating playlists to match every mood. Or why I like b&w in my home. And why I still at 39 can't get rid of my worn out hoodies from high school.. Finding happy in the ordinary day to day brings happy to my life...I hope you can see how the everyday sweet little things are the most beautiful.

Realized today it's been 5 years. 5 years of setting up display booths 5 years of vulnerability, putting so much of my heart on display hoping that the pieces would speak to somebody. 5 years of hearing stories of how our pieces spoke to someone. 5 years of setting up next to strangers who become friends. 5 years of blood + sweat + tears. 5 years of learning + growing every single time. And for 5 years everytime we are getting ready + setting up I say these same words "WHY DO WE DO THIS, MAYBE WE SHOULD STOP"! This is the Longest we have gone without getting to setup + decorate a booth and I am starting miss it.

-Also second pic is the very first booth we ever setup at a small shop and first pic is the most recent, we have grown SOO MUCH!!!!!
