Dear Customers & Friends please consider helping.
I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to ask for your support in a very meaningful service project—our school-wide donation drive benefiting the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Charlotte, held in honor of former Clover High School AFJROTC cadet Cooper Burrell.
Cooper was a Clover High School senior and JROTC cadet who courageously battled cancer before passing away in January 2023. Although many of us may not have known him personally, his strength, resilience, and determination continue to inspire our cadets and community. This drive is our way of honoring his legacy by supporting children who are currently facing similar challenges.
We are collecting donations from April 13 through May 5, and will present all contributions to Cooper’s mother on what would have been his 21st birthday, May 11, 2026.
How You Can Help:
We are asking for donations of new, unused items only to ensure patient safety. Suggested items include:
Stuffed animals
Coloring books, crayons, and markers
Puzzle books (word searches, Sudoku, etc.)
Small toys or games
Blankets
Hats (beanies, scarves)
Fidget toys
Handwritten letters or cards of encouragement
Donation Process:
Donations can be dropped off in collection boxes located throughout the NGC, CHS, and CCI campuses, or in our JROTC classrooms.
Cadets may also turn in items to their Flight Commander for inspection and logging.
Items must be new and clean; any used items will be returned.
Cadets can earn 1 service hour per 5 donated items (maximum of 2 hours).
This is a powerful opportunity for our cadets to live out the Air Force core value of Service Before Self while making a real difference in the lives of children and families going through incredibly difficult times.

Very respectfully,
MSgt Clemens
