I’ve been reminded of this often lately in the midst of a full and busy life: finding those quiet moments to sit at God’s feet, to pray, and to praise Him doesn’t take away from the day—it fuels it. It fills me and overflows into the people around.
Even when I feel like I’m choosing good things, there comes a time when I’m tested. If I rely on my own strength, I will eventually fall short. But when I draw near to God, rest in His presence, and allow Him to sharpen me, both my inward desires and outward actions begin to change.
So consider this your sign: take the walk without your phone. Spend an extra 30 minutes reading His Word. Pray on your drive to work. Create space for Him in the ordinary moments.
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8.
And remember—you are deeply loved, fully seen, and known by our beautiful Creator.
