Nurses Appreciation Trip update! Videos im comments!

Took a while to post but after a reschedule due to weather the Nurses Appreciation Trip was definitely a huge success! I got to meet some awesome people plus we caught multiple different species of fish, a solid ray and this beautiful black tip shark. Not only was it Ali's 1st time fishing but she also pushed through her fears and held a few of the catches. Such an amazing time with a great group of people. Made a few new fishing friends and even met someone from South Africa. This right here is what fishing is all about and is why I do what I do. Life doesn't get much better than this!
Now that the nurses are out of the way with summer right around the corner Im thinking teachers are next up! I will check the tides and put together a morning trip so we are out of the crowds way and can fish freely. Trip will be scheduled early to mid June so watch out of further details! National Nurses Appreciation Week is May 6th-12th and to show our love and appreciation for all of our amazing nurses out there we will be offering a free trip on Thurs May 7th from 9am ish to 3pm ish! Looking for a 3-4 registered nurse's interested in a guided surf fishing trip completely on us?! If anyone is interested in joining me on a free surf fishing session on Sullivans Island 1st thing tomorrow morning let me know? Tides line up perfectly for some early morning fishing and I could really use an extra set of hands or two to help run the full arsenal. Ill supply everything so no experience or gear is needed. Adults with kids are more than welcome. Usually there is plenty to do for most ages. I know its last minute but hopefully someone sees this and jumps on this great opportunity to learn all about surf fishing..

6ft Blacktip Shark safely released back into the surf! What a blast this shark was to battle especially in 2-3 feet of water for a good 75 yards out. They dont like when their belly touch the sand so this shark was really fired up. When it 1st took the bait we missed the hook set but left the bait out and hoped it would circle back. About 2 minutes later the hook was set and this beast came flying completely out of the water. What a massive blast of adrenaline! Absolutely love doing this and the only thing that comes close is putting others onto that same feeling! Booking now thru Oct! SC Surf Fishing

Stingrays are one of the most powerful creature in the Charleston surf which also makes them extremely fun to catch! Quick video of a large southern stingray being released. Barb fully in tact to defend itself the best it knows how! Booking thru Oct!

The surf is warming up quick and we couldn't be more excited! IOP is trying to pass a similar ordinance right now. We need the same amount of outrage in Charleston! If these ordinances pass it's only a matter of time until it spreads up and down the entire SC coast and our fishing rights are taken away completely. Fishing is not attracting sharks to the shore. We've been fishing side by side with swimmers for 100's of years and shark attacks are very rare considering the amount of people that visit SC beaches and swim in our waters!

Just a few highlights of my nephew Connor crushing it. He's only a teenager but he's already becoming 1 of the best fishermen I know! The skill is there so once he has the knowledge you only gain through experience I'll put him up against just about anyone fishing the surf. When it comes to fishing heartache can be one of the best teachers and we've had a few heart breakers this season that's for sure. Unfortunately he's on injured reserve right now but I can't wait to get him back out there fishing!
