As a self-taught nose, I’ve spent the last 10 years getting to know my materials better. How they smell pure, in a formulation, as blends, as accords, learning which molecules create the true heart of an ingredient. Which ones harmonize and which ones clash. A fragrant yet painstaking process that I thoroughly enjoy.

At the end of 2024 we joined the 4th batch of international businesses .byrobertet and it seems fitting that I find myself reviewing our progress during a Flower moon 🌕

Six months of planting our roots deep within the fragrance eco system directly in the cradle of perfumery. My words struggle to articulate how much I’ve absorbed on the journey thus far.

I smelled my way through the Jasmine & Tuberose fields, visited historical perfume houses, extraction sites, and museums, expanded my nose palette HQ in Grasse, and have an entire team of talented entrepreneurs working towards innovating the naturals space together .byrobertet

The Contents Co. is going through some big changes, applying some of that new savior faire to our unique way of working. Expect lots of new, naturally fragrant things in 2025-2026 👃🌱

Perfumed from the wealth of inspiration that comes from + - a calm, creative and grounding scent… with a naturally green heart of Geranium, Cut Stems, & Cilantro, lifted by a bright splash of Yuzu & Bergamot, a wisp of Pinyon.

Captured within unique handmade ceramic vessels with magical chrome metallic glaze.

It all starts in the fields… quite proud to announce that we are officially a part of the .byrobertet business accelerator program located in the heart of perfumery Grasse, France. Our goal for this cornerstone partnership is to absorb as much of the ancestral knowledge, heritage, and savoir faire as possible in order to continue bringing high quality naturals to market… The future is natural.

We’re still here… and I just wanted to let you know we are still quietly working away on honing our craft… forever sourcing the best natural materials to be found for our formulations and your olfactory delight. And if you’re still here, reading this… I’d like to thank you.

Thank you for supporting our vision. Whether you’ve been ordering our products for years or you’ve just been curiously following along on our journey, we are still here because of you. The interest we’ve received since starting this whole self-taught natural perfumery thing has been a constant delight. Along this path, we’ve perfumed bespoke fragrances for some amazingly talented designers, a few other likeminded brands, a couple 5 star properties… heck, we even got our very own ‘cult classic’ Salvia Room Sprays onto the shelves of Bloomingdale’s heading into 2020.

What a wild ride it’s been. And yet, somehow it feels like we’re just getting started. While some things are changing here at The Contents Co., there are some things that will never change… like my passion for fragrance and the power that scents have on our emotions and well being.

It’s time for yet another Return to Nature.
