Every season, our Gratitude program lets us wrap our arms around a family walking through something hard. This season, we'd love for you to meet their littlest fighter. 💙
Asher is an ornery, spunky 3-year-old little boy with a determination that inspires everyone around him.
Earlier this year, what began as concerns about Asher's ability to walk quickly turned into every parent's worst nightmare.
After being admitted to Riley Children's Hospital and undergoing surgery, Asher was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a form of brain and spinal cancer.
Since then, Asher, his parents Amber and Tommy, and his big brother Cooper have faced months filled with hospital rooms, surgeries, rehabilitation, chemotherapy, countless unknowns, and far too much time spent apart from one another. Throughout the journey, they have learned to celebrate every victory—no matter how big or small.
Through every update, one thing remains clear: Asher is so much more than a diagnosis. He is a little boy who loves his family, has incredible determination, and continues to show everyone around him what courage looks like. As his mom shared early in this journey, "He is not a statistic. He is my ornery, amazing 3-year-old son."
Today, Asher continues his fight through treatment while his family navigates frequent medical appointments, travel, and the challenges that come with caring for a child facing cancer.
This season, we are honored to join Asher's Army and support the McDonough family through our Gratitude program. $2 from every Deep Waters candle sold will go directly to the McDonough family. Thank you for helping us surround them with encouragement, hope, and support as Asher continues his journey.
