Today we share pics of some of the tooling we use to make our products.

This is both sides of a matchplate that holds the pattern for our Glide C Leg Vise handwheel. You might be surprised that we don't actually fully machine our C series castings to make our M series, fully machined handwheels. Each wheel has its own distinct pattern and casting. And these wheels are so large that we can only fit one on each match plate. That means for every wheel we cast and manufacture we make a separate mold for every wheel. And that mold is destroyed for every wheel that's cast.

This pattern has been used to make thousands of handwheels for the past 14 years!

This has us wanting to ditch work and make something. Here's some Monday inspiration for you our dear followers. Epic bench .eckman

Hey FJ & Team,

I saw your recent post requesting customer photos and wanted to submit a few of mine. I've attached photos of my workbench and chest featuring your vise hardware and Czeck Edge tools.

I recently rebuilt my dad's old bench, the one I grew up working at, into a proper Roubo AWB. I sistered additional material onto the legs to make them more substantial, drawbored to a new top made of Douglas Fir, and added the Glide Leg Vise with a maple chop. I also constructed the 24" Moxon vise using your hardware specifically to dovetail my tool chest, and it made the process a joy. I'm truly enjoying the quality of the hardware and the tools.
