Kreations by Kaye I have been sewing and crafting since a young child and have passed the passion on to my kids. I am a Wife, Soccer Mom, and Registered Nurse.

Last week my daughter and I met up with my mom in Indiana and attended her quilt guild’s quilt retreat in Shipshewana. We had a great time visiting and creating with others who have the love of quilting. I was only able to complete one quilt as I chose to start with this “I Spy” quilt. Took me all three days to fussy cut and snowball each square. G completed a puff quilt which she used up some of the fabric from her original quilt she completed for her college dorm bed. Both turned out fabulous of corse!!
Can’t forget the huge Amish donuts! 😂

Restocked some of the favorites today! Come by and check out all the lovelies for Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras and St Paddy’s day decor! Minky fabrics are probably the messiest fabric to work with, but they make the most gorgeous blankets!! Here are a few I made this month as graduation gifts for my daughter’s friends.

The “good” minky is getting to be slimmer in choices, but we were able to piece together combinations from my stash with locally sourced minky fabric to create unique gifts to compliment the graduates’ interests, hobbies and personalities. I think they turned out wonderful!
