I’ve never designed a logo before, but when friends believe in you and ask you to take a shot at branding, you say yes.

So here it is: Brew La La ☕✨
A local coffee and tea bar with a little whimsy and a lot of love.

Brewing soon, and I’m so honored to be a small part of its story.

Have you invited a little whimsy into your life lately? ☀️✨

This week, that was my goal: to sprinkle tiny, unexpected pockets of delight into ordinary days, for myself and my family.

Here are some highlights:
🥪 Packed a picnic for the soccer fields, because sometimes dinner tastes better outside
🍓 Turned school pick-up into a smoothie surprise
☂️ Finished reading The Book Witch by Meg Shaffer, a whimsical, cozy mystery that I will recommend forever
💻 Worked from a new community workspace, just to give my brain a fresh window to look out of

And honestly? It felt good.

There’s something sweet about choosing to make the regular stuff feel a little more special, playful, alive.

Let's keep trying to find sparkle tucked inside the day-to-day. 💗✨

Independent Bookstore Day is this Saturday, April 25, and it’s the perfect time to stop by Books and Bakery and support one of our favorite small businesses. There is so much happening at the store, with something for everyone.

Come browse books, support young makers, discover one-of-a-kind handmade treasures, watch Emilyelizabethjoy paint live, and enjoy a cozy, welcoming community. My whimsical creations will be there, too, and my family will be helping with the Kids Makers Market in the afternoon.
