A few years ago we threw my daughter a Taylor Swift birthday party and somewhere in the middle of friendship bracelets, singing, playing, and kids laughing … I had this thought:

these moments really matter.

Research tells us over and over again that human connection, friendship, and a sense of belonging are deeply tied to our well-being. And yet so many of us are moving through busy lives feeling stretched thin, isolated, and overwhelmed.

I think that’s part of why celebrations matter so much.

Not because they have to be elaborate.
Not because they need to look Pinterest-perfect.

But because gathering matters.
Joy matters.
Feeling connected matters.

Today I opened a business bank account for an idea that has been living in my head and heart for a long time 🤍

The Curated Crate was born from wanting more meaningful moments and joy at home, but often feeling like the time to create it was just out reach.

I kept coming back to the same thought:
How can I put creating this environment on autopilot?

I don’t think meaningful memories need to be elaborate.
I don’t think thoughtful has to mean exhausting.

This brand is still new and growing, but I’m really excited to finally begin sharing it.

Welcome to The Curated Crate

This started with a simple idea—
wanting to create meaningful, joyful moments at home… without adding additional workload to an already full life.

Like so many people, I love the traditions, the little celebrations, the moments that make childhood feel special. I had the ideas. The intention was always there. But sometimes the day would come and go and I’d think, “We missed it.”

Not because it didn’t matter—
but because life is full.

One year, I tried something different.
I made a simple commitment to myself: show up for each holiday in a small, thoughtful way. Then I extended it to my sister—sending everything she’d need, already picked out and ready to go.

No planning. No last-minute runs.
Just moments that showed up… right on time.

And that’s when it clicked:
Sometimes what we need isn’t more ideas—
it’s less to think about.

The Curated Crate launched to make it easier to have a joyful household. To bring back the fun and elevate the little moments that make life feel special...without the effort behind the scenes and without adding to the mental burden.

Because you shouldn’t have to choose between showing up and keeping up.

Thoughtfully prepared. Effortlessly enjoyed.
