Sometimes (most often) we just post the good stuff, or even the best. Here’s a dose of pottery reality. When I opened the kiln this morning, out of nine pieces of pottery, I lost five to bubbling and over run of glaze. 😢 Then when I was reloading the kiln with greenware I bumped a bowl (my best thrown ever) on the thermostat. It shattered into my hand and a large piece landed on another beautiful bowl and broke a piece out of it as well. These were all for the “Holiday Market” at Lost Oak Winery this Sunday afternoon . My inventory will be a little lower now, but come on out and see the “good stuff” 😉
