Art by the Andes Here you will find handmade treasures from Peruvian Masters artisans whom transform wool into magnificent, unique pieces of art. WEAVING DREAMS!!

Hello everybody! This adventure started some years ago during one of my trips to Peru. I fell in love with the amazing artwork of the artisans. I couldn't help but admire profoundly their colorful and intricate artistry and felt so proud of my roots. They not only weave wool but also weave dreams. Dreams of a better future, dreams of inclusion and freedom from poverty that affects their home. Forg

otten and lacking opportunities, these Andean families have agriculture, textile making and pottery as their main means of living. Yet they have accumulated a wealth of cultural tradition. Their weaving techniques have been passes from one generation to the next since the time of the Incas. Master artisans keep the traditions of my country alive and their hands produced beautiful pieces of art organically, without harming the Pachamama or Mother Earth. Long before we started protecting our environment, Andean families were collecting basic elements from nature, transforming sheep and alpaca fibers into a colorful palette of threads and textiles using plants and insects for dyes and forgoing toxic chemicals. Then, I owe it to myself and my heritage to share these handmade treasures with you. I am fortunate to have met some of these wonderful creators and I can now bring their work to you. I invite you to join me and help me keep these Peruvians artisans weaving their dreams and making them come true.

One of our handcrafted retablos, a vibrant bakery scene full of tradition and detail, was created by master artisan Ataucusi and selected by the Consul of Peru as a gift for the Mayor of Dallas.

Moments like this remind us how art can connect cultures and bring stories from Peru to our community here in Texas ❤️
