A New Chapter for The Essence Of Spirituality

As The Essence Of Spirituality continues to grow and evolve, I have made the decision not to renew the lease on my current suite when it ends September 30th.

This space has been such an important part of building my business, and I am incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through the door, booked a session, attended an event, purchased from my shop, shared my business, or simply supported me along the way.

But I also know it is time to think bigger.

I have reached a point where I need a space that better supports the vision I have for The Essence Of Spirituality. I want room to offer services while keeping the shop accessible, hold regular business hours, welcome more people for group experiences, and create a location that is easier for clients and customers to find and visit.

The Essence Of Spirituality is not closing.

While I search for the right space for this next stage, I will continue offering my services in different ways. I am available to be hired for private and group events, and sessions can be held at rented locations when appropriate. Distant Reiki will also continue to be available for those who prefer to receive Reiki from home.

The online shop will remain open, with shipping and local pickup available, so you can continue shopping your favorite products, crystals, and spiritual accessories through my website.

And there is more ahead.

I have some exciting plans for the future of The Essence Of Spirituality and a much bigger vision for what I want this business to become. I am taking my time to make sure the next space is one that allows me to continue growing rather than simply moving into another space with the same limitations.

You will also have opportunities to join me in person during this transition. I already have two upcoming events, with tickets available now. I will place the information and ticket links in the comments below.

Thank you to everyone who has supported The Essence Of Spirituality and helped me get to this point. Your appointments, purchases, referrals, kind words, shares, and encouragement have meant more than you know.

This isn’t goodbye. I’m still here, still working, still creating, and very excited about where The Essence Of Spirituality is headed next.

I've been waiting to share this... and I'm so excited to finally tell you!

This October, I'll be joining an incredible lineup of local experts as a speaker at the 5th Annual She Rises Women's Retreat in Medina, Ohio!

When Amanda Liptak, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and creator of the annual She Rises Women's Retreat, reached out and invited me to speak, I was honored to say YES.

Why?

Because I believe we all need moments where we can slow down, step away from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect with ourselves. Through sound healing, I hope to create a peaceful space where you can simply relax, be present, and give yourself permission to receive.

Whether it's helping women better understand Nervous System Regulation, providing practical tools they can start using immediately, or simply creating a space where women feel seen and supported-I'm honored to be part of this experience.

This isn't just another conference. It's an intentionally curated retreat where women can step away from everyday life, connect with one another, and leave feeling encouraged, educated, and empowered.

Life has a way of pulling us in every direction until we forget to check in with ourselves.

As a new week begins, give yourself permission to slow down when you need to, breathe a little deeper, and protect your peace. You deserve the same kindness you so freely give to everyone else.

THOUGHTS THURSDAY

One thing we don’t talk about enough is what happens when we neglect ourselves for too long.

You become emotionally exhausted. Your patience grows thin. Small frustrations begin to feel much bigger than they really are. Before long, the people around you start experiencing a version of you that doesn’t reflect who you truly are.

Then comes the guilt.

The guilt becomes so heavy that all you want is to take those words back. You want to erase the look on someone’s face. You want another chance to respond with patience instead of frustration, understanding instead of anger.

The problem is, once those words are spoken, they no longer belong only to you. They become part of someone else’s experience. An apology matters. Taking responsibility matters. Even then, you can’t always undo the hurt or erase the emotions someone carried because of that moment.

The people you love shouldn’t have to carry the weight of the battles you’re refusing to acknowledge within yourself.

That guilt doesn’t bring peace. It drains you even more, making it harder to become the person you know you are.

The cycle continues until you choose to care for yourself.

The way you treat yourself reaches far beyond you. It touches your children, your partner, your family, your friends, your coworkers, and even the strangers whose paths cross yours.

Self care isn’t only about feeling better. It’s about protecting the people you love from carrying the weight of your exhaustion. Sometimes the greatest act of love isn’t something you do for someone else.

Sometimes it’s finally choosing to heal yourself.
