Turns out “The People’s Artist” was really just “The People With The Most Paid Votes.” 👀

Artists out here fighting algorithms, burnout, self doubt, rising costs, and somehow the solution became…

“Give us more money and maybe you’ll win.” 💀

This is exactly why I built The Creatives.

No pay-to-win.
No buying popularity.
No turning artists into engagement farms for a corporation.

Just real artists.
Real collectors.
Real community.

Imagine that… an art project actually designed to help artists instead of monetizing their desperation.

Crazy concept, I know.

The art world keeps packaging exploitation as “opportunity.”

Artists are finally starting to notice.

Every series of The Creatives has proven that when artists are genuinely supported, something bigger happens.

Communities form.
Collectors connect directly with artists.
Collaborations happen naturally.
Artists get discovered.
Friendships are built.
Collectors become part of the culture instead of just spectators.

The energy becomes real.

Not because someone bought votes.

Because people actually cared about the art.

Build community, not cash grabs.

Looks like the v1.0 Android version of The Creatives app might actually land first 👀

I’m currently still waiting on a license approval from Apple, but the Android version is completed and testing great so far.

This app was built to be a true companion for collectors and creatives alike. Track your collection, signed cards, progress, extras, missing cards, utilities, and more. We finally have a really solid foundation to build from.

Apple users, I promise I didn’t forget about you 😅 As soon as the license clears, I’ll be submitting the iOS version immediately.

We build our own lanes when nobody opens the door for us. The Creatives keeps moving forward.

The Creatives App is officially complete and now we’re just waiting on Apple to approve one final license so I can upload it and get it out to everyone!

I genuinely think you guys are going to love this as a companion app to collecting the cards and communicating collections within the collective. There are still so many more features and updates I want to build into it over time, but we officially have a solid foundation now.

And don’t worry Android users… I was recently approved as a developer there too and I’m learning as we speak 👀

Sometimes we have to build our own lanes when others don’t help. That’s exactly what this project has always been about. Community, creativity, and figuring it out together.

You can never have too many extra caps on standby.

If you know, you know… Keep the stash ready, stay in the flow, and never let a tiny piece slow down big ideas.

Lately I’ve been sitting with a few messages.

Different emotions. Different perspectives. All real.

And it made me think about where I stand in all of this.

Because this project isn’t just something I run.

I’m an artist too. A creator. A father. A friend. A person trying to build something real that didn’t exist before.

And that comes with weight.

There are moments I’m excited, moments I’m unsure, moments I’m proud… and moments that are honestly just heavy.

Because behind every name, every submission, every message… there’s a real person who cares about what they’re creating.

I don’t take that lightly.

People tell me all the time, “I wouldn’t want to be you.”

And I understand what they mean.

Because with this comes making decisions that not everyone will agree with. It comes with knowing not everyone will be happy. And most people avoid that.

But this is part of building something real.

Building The Creatives has never been about just putting something out.

It’s been about creating space. Creating connection. Creating something that people can feel a part of. Inspiring.

And that doesn’t just live in who’s included.

It lives in the community, the collectors, the conversations, the people watching, supporting, creating alongside it.

If you’re part of this in any way… I appreciate you more than you probably realize.

This is something I’m building with everything I have.

And I’m still learning as I go.

But it’s real.

And I’m grateful to be doing it with all of you.

Just venting…a rare glimpse.

The votes are in.

The Creatives highlighted in yellow are officially in the Series 4 Mega Collaboration.

I’ve included everyone here for full transparency so you can see the love across the board.

I’ll be selecting how the groups come together.

And yes… there will be a group chat 🙄. I know how much we all “love” those, but what’s a collaboration without communication.

Let’s make something crazy.

Rocky, straight out of and into my world.

As a huge fan of space stories, this one instantly climbed to the top for me. Written by Andy Weir , who also created another favorite of mine, The Martian… you already know the level is high. Ryan Gosling was amazing. I saw it twice, the second time was a treat watching with directors commentary using

The character design, the story, the emotion… it all hits different. Had to bring Rocky to life in my own way.

Fully painted by me, every detail dialed in. This was one of those pieces where I just got lost in the process.

If you’ve read it, you already know. If you haven’t… fix that. I won’t mess anything up for you. 🪨

Micro Tumble ‘Look what I can do’ Knavs are almost here.

Someone hit copy and paste a little too much in the portal that the Creative Clown made.

Now this happened.

Not all of them are behaving.

Pure chaos.
Release info soon.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while…

And I think I’m done being an artist.

Not in a dramatic way. Just… real.

After years of creating, building, pushing ideas, and trying to do things differently, I’ve realized something:

This space isn’t built for artists like me.

It’s built for algorithms.
For trends.
For people who move faster, cheaper, louder.

And I’m proud of what I made.

But I don’t think I belong in it anymore.

Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. For real.

This might be my last post.

Collectors/Resellers in the designer toy scene… let’s really talk about it.

This is one of those topics people dance around, but it keeps coming up.

Artists get frustrated when a piece they spent real time on sells out… and then shows up on auction sites minutes later. I get it. It can feel like the work didn’t even get a chance to land with someone who actually connected to it.

Collectors feel it too. The ones who genuinely support drops end up missing out, watching pieces flip before they even had a fair shot.

But here’s the part people don’t like to admit…

Resellers also create signal.

They show what’s hot.
They push visibility.
They create demand in a way that the market actually responds to.

That “hype” everyone complains about?
It’s also what puts certain artists on the map.

And let’s be real about something else.

If you bought the piece, it’s yours.
You should be able to do what you want with it.

Hold it. Display it. Trade it. Sell it.

That’s part of collecting.

What I don’t agree with is how quick some communities are to turn on people for reselling.

Styles change.
People overbuy.
Life happens.

Not everyone who sells is a “flipper.” Sometimes they’re just evolving.

There’s a difference between someone supporting a drop and later moving pieces… and someone only showing up to extract value.

Maybe that’s the real conversation.

Not reselling vs collecting.

But intention.

Curious where everyone stands on this one 👇
