Fun fact about me....I lived in AZ for about 7 years (Go Sun Devils!!)

I don’t have any cacti in my Plant Party yet but when I get more space I just might go for it. (I’m not trying to bump into it)

And as much as succulents are NOT my jam.... Aloe Blacc has been my “Ride or Die” since I’ve been in ATL.
He likes to grow in hot, dry climates. Don’t water often, BUT WHEN YOU DO....make sure it’s a GOOD soak!
Also, it’s has great benefits for your skin & hair!

I can’t wait to take all of my plants outside!!! I’m going to give them another 2 weeks inside then I’m ready to let them lose and take in that humidity and bright sunlight!!!

I know I posted Swizz about a month ago....but when you see growth you have to celebrate it!!! (Read that part again) 😉

We’re on to a taller pole, and can we just admire at how beautiful these leaves are!!

TJ (Garden Croton)

In the beginning of the year I showed you my mom’s Croton, but I’ve got one too!!

I actually got my first Croton, at Trader Joe’s (hence TJ) when I lived in NYC. (Also shout out to for having some pretty awesome plants!!)
TJ didn’t do so well it’s first summer in ATL, so last summer I got another one (TJ 2.0) and he’s lasted almost a year!!!

• He’s grown taller and the leaves are super vibrant!!

• I’ve kept him in bright INDIRECT sunlight all year. I’ll take him outside once it’s consistently warmer.

• Don’t forget now that it’s getting warmer, keep an eye on the leaves they will tell you when they need some water.

• Tj LOVES the dramatics and will droop when you’re late to the watering party. Don’t worry though they perk up in a few hours once you give him a thorough watering!!
