Our Story

I grew up in the 4-H program, showing livestock, giving speeches, going to county camp, district leadership conference, and state 4-H Round-up. I decided in high school that I wanted to be a 4-H agent, and majored in Agriculture Education at NEO A&M and later graduated from that program at OSU.

My first job as a 4-h Agent was in Caddo County, Oklahoma, and I later moved to the state office as Executive Director of the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation. After 12 years of work in the 4-H program, I left to wtqrt my own award business which I operated for almost 20 years in Stillwater before returning to the farm where I was raised in Northeast Oklahoma.

As you can tell, my roots in Agriculture and the 4-H program run deep. I love the program and life in the country, and have continued to operate Awards and Moore from here on the farm. Family and other responsibilities have made it a little more difficult to travel to shows, but we still make some, and make sure you have what you need for the others through our internet sales.
