The circles quilt has re-emerged! Do you have a WIP that seems to be unending? This stack is one of six rows, this is row three. I'm making progress, right?

Progress has been made on finding a new location for our sewing circle! We'll be meeting this Thursday, Feb 19, from 5:30 - 9 pm.

Our new location is Susan Morelli's home: 142 Woodhill Ln, North Salt Lake, UT. Parking is available on the street.

Bring your show-n-tell, projects, needed supplies and your power cord for your sewing machine. Feel free to bring your dinner!

January is going as fast as last year! It's time for Jewel's Sewing Circle this Thursday. Unfortunately, we don't have a new site to meet at so we're on hiatus for the time being.

I hope your new year is going well! If you have an idea of where we could meet, please let me know.

In the meantime, here's how I spent the last several days. That would be shave ice and a baby pineapple. Hawaii was beautiful and humid!

Where did October go? Time really puts on its roller skates this time of year!

It's time for our final Jewel's Sewing Circle of the year.

It's also our final time of meeting at the Neighborhood House. We need to find a new location to meet next year. Do you have any suggestions?

Where did October go? Time really puts on its roller skates this time of year!

It's time for our final Jewel's Sewing Circle of the year.

It's that time of year! My sewing room has been abandoned for my kitchen!

I'm grateful to have my sewing circle friends to help bring a little balance to this time of year.

We're meeting this Thursday, Nov 20 from 5:30 pm - 9 pm at the Neighborhood House; 1050 W 500 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84104.

Put down the sugar canister and the bag of flour and join us for a few hours of sewing, friendship and relaxation!

Bring your project, needed supplies, including your sewing machine's power cord and an extension cord if you need power. You're also welcome to bring your dinner.

Are you still working on projects you acquired from Jewel's Fabric Stash? Check out this stunning paper pieced quilt my niece just got back from the quilter! The pattern is called Bluetiful by Jacquline de Jonge, https://www.becolourful.com/. It's done mainly in batiks accumulated from Jewel's. Who knew we had so many blues!

Come to Jewel's Sewing Circle and make some progress on those projects!

Welcome to cooler weather! Im not excited for snow, but I do love our evening temperatures we're enjoying. How do we keep those all year?

How are your projects going? I know we've hit harvest season for you gardeners. My parents had a large garden and dozens of ball canning jars. Monday - Saturday in September and October was canning season; everything else stopped.

If only I could use that as an excuse for not getting my circles quilt done! I did make progress, but I also got sidetracked by the project in the pictures. I have the opportunity of going to Hawaii in January and I have to have a great tote, right?

To help us all get back on track with those Christmas projects this Thursday is Jewel's Sewing Circle! Join us from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at The Neighborhood House; 1050 West 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104.
