Father’s Day is a reminder to celebrate the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, father figures, and mentors who show up for us in big ways and small. From words of encouragement to acts of love that often go unnoticed, they help shape our lives every day.
This year, take a moment to let them know how much they mean to you. A heartfelt card can say what’s sometimes hard to put into words—and become something they’ll treasure long after Father’s Day has passed.
Who are you celebrating this Father’s Day? 💙

Mother’s Day isn’t one-size-fits-all…

It’s for your mom, yes—but also for the stepmoms, grandmas, aunts, chosen family, mentors, and friends who’ve shown up with love, guidance, and care when you needed it most.

Because being a mom, in any form, is no small thing. It’s the unseen work, the constant giving, the late nights, the quiet sacrifices, and the endless love that often goes unrecognized.
This year, take a moment to truly appreciate everything they do. Celebrate every kind of mom in your life with something thoughtful—a handwritten card goes a long way 🤍

shares a bit about her artistic practice.

“ Karen Dubbs Fisher Art was born out of the early dark days of the pandemic. I have worked as a clinical social worker for the past 35 years and during this time transitioned my clinical practice to remote telehealth. At the same time my youngest son Sam started his freshman year of college and was unable to be on campus so he was studying remotely as well. He was exploring Graphic Design as his major and we purchased him the Adobe software that he needed for his coursework. This was my exposure to graphic illustration and I began to pick up my iPad in my spare time and play around with photoshop, procreate and InDesign. Pretty soon I was hooked! I was delivering therapy to clients by day and creating in the evening became my therapy! I am mostly a self taught digital illustrator but I have taken a few classes at MECA to enhance my knowledge base of the programs I utilize. I like to bring vibrant color to my original designs in order to add some joy to those my work resonates with.“ - Karen 💌

In a world of read receipts, typing bubbles, and messages that disappear as quickly as they’re sent, there’s something quietly powerful about putting pen to paper. A handwritten card slows things down. It asks you to pause, reflect, and choose your words with intention—turning even the simplest message into something lasting.
Digital communication is convenient (and we love it for that), but it often gets lost in the noise. A handwritten note, on the other hand, stands out. It’s tangible. It’s personal. It lives on kitchen counters, bookshelves, and bulletin boards—revisited again and again long after it’s received. It becomes a keepsake, not just a message.
There’s also something deeply human about handwriting. No two notes are exactly the same—the little quirks, the ink smudges, the way your words fill the page—they all carry a piece of you. It’s not just what you say, it’s how you say it. And in a time where so much is automated and templated, that authenticity matters more than ever.
Sending a handwritten card says: “I took time for you.” It turns everyday moments into meaningful ones—whether it’s a birthday, a thank you, or just a simple “thinking of you.” These small gestures create real connection in a way that no text or email quite can.
So here’s your reminder: slow down, reach out, and send something that lasts. 💌✨
