Pages + Pretty Things is heading to the Nampa Farmers Market! 📚🌿✨

We’ll be at Lloyd Square Park from 9am–1pm with books, handmade goods, art, gifts, and all kinds of creative goodness from local authors, artists, and makers. 💛

Honestly… we LOVE markets.
The music.
The coffee.
The wandering around with nowhere to be.
The “Wait… who MADE this?!” moments. 😅

And we’re really excited to keep building a space that helps creative people get their work out into the world.

Because Idaho is full of talented humans quietly creating beautiful things behind the scenes. 🌸

Your portion goes directly back to *you* and your creations.

Our portion helps cover the behind-the-scenes work that makes all of this possible:

🌿 displays

🌿 inventory organization
🌿 online systems
🌿 payment processing
🌿 event coordination
🌿 creator promotion

Basically… all the things that can make selling your work feel overwhelming when you’re trying to do it alone. 😅

Our hope is to create something collaborative, supportive, and sustainable where creators can focus more on creating and less on hauling tents in 95 degree weather wondering where their square reader went. 😂

One thing we knew we needed to figure out early?

“How do we actually handle inventory?” 😅📦

Because creators are busy.
Teachers are busy.
Parents are busy.
Life is busy.

So once someone is accepted into Pages + Pretty Things, we coordinate the easiest way to receive inventory based on location and product type. ✨

That may include:

📦 meetups
📍 local drop-offs
🚗 delivery coordination

Our goal is to make the process feel supportive and manageable — not complicated and stressful.

Because honestly?
A lot of creative people stop before they start simply because the logistics feel overwhelming.

We’re trying to remove some of those barriers so more people can actually share what they create with the world. 🌿

Let’s talk about the membership side of Pages + Pretty Things. 🌿

Right now, membership is $20/month.

And honestly?
That money doesn’t go into some giant corporate machine. 😅

It helps us build opportunities for creators.

Because setting up markets, maintaining systems, organizing creators, transporting inventory, marketing events, and creating a cohesive experience takes time, energy, and resources behind the scenes.

Our goal is to make things easier for creators who feel overwhelmed trying to do *everything* themselves.

And because we know teachers are some of the most creative humans on the planet (while also being wildly underpaid 😬)…

Here’s how membership works at Pages + Pretty Things. 🌿✨

Step 1 is simple:
Fill out the interest form.

We want to know:

✨ who you are
✨ what you create
✨ what your goals are
✨ what kinds of products you’d like us to carry

Because we’re not just trying to fill booth space.
We’re trying to build a genuinely supportive creative community.

A space where authors, artists, teachers, and makers can grow together, support one another, and help each other get seen.

Once applications come in, we review them and may ask a few follow-up questions so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone involved.

One of our favorite parts of this process has been discovering how many talented people are quietly creating incredible things behind the scenes. 🌸

Two sisters… who learned something pretty quickly. 🌿

There are a LOT of talented people out there.

People writing books at midnight after teaching all day.
People making art at the kitchen table while their kids eat cereal.
People creating candles, prints, jewelry, pottery, stickers, journals, soaps, bookmarks, plants, and beautiful little things the world would genuinely love.

But the hard part?

It’s not always the creating.

It’s the:
• applications
• booth fees
• setup
• hauling bins
• standing in the heat
• talking to strangers
• figuring out displays
• marketing on social media
• hoping you make your money back

That part overwhelms people.

And honestly?
We get it.

So we built something we wish existed sooner.
