Press Puzzles is a Bloomington based hand crafted wooden jigsaw puzzle company that specializes in creating puzzles that celebrate the communities and culture of Indiana communities. Beginning in April of 2017, Press Puzzles opened a brick and mortar store in Bloomington, Indiana at 611 W. 11th Street. The store is located inside Blue Heron Woodworking Supplies and is open to the public noon - 6 p

m, Thursdays - Saturdays. The store in the former location of Bender Lumber is called Press Puzzles@ Blue Heron. As for the puzzles, they are created over a 7 day process and are freehand cut using a scroll saw. Each puzzle has it's own unique piece count and pieces shapes. Cartoonizing some of our photos for a new line puzzle line just in time for , October 4th and fingers crossed the .

The larger image was designed by Sheryl Doades for the 2025 production of Alice in Wonderland. A portion of sales from this puzzle will be donated back to Stages.

An oldie but a goodie. My guess the last time I made one of these was in 2015. The image itself is a flyer the I designed for the 25th anniversary weekend of an iconic nightclub in Bloomington, IN called Second Story. I bet many of my Bloomington friends will recognize the majority of the bands featured on the flyer.

The club was around from 1981 - 2016.

Works in progress - adding a touch of color to our signature love of 50 state themed tray puzzles. I’ll be interested to see how the public responds this weekend to the dyed veneer.
